Whole Grain vs Whole Wheat

I've heard that whole grain bread is the best for you because it is made with whole grains and that whole wheat just means that it is all wheat flower, but it could still be highly processed and the good part of wheat could be missing from it. So what's the deal with bread then? Am I buying the wrong kind?

I always buy whole grain bread because it contains the whole grain, which gives you fiber and may consist of multiple kinds of grains, so you're getting a nice nutrient balance, as well. Multigrain is one of the words you can watch out for, because a product can have multiple parts of different grains and call it Multigrain without having any whole grain in the mix.
