Learning to paint while fighting cancer
The Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Canters’ cancer Resource Center in Evergreen Park, Ill. helps cancer patients improve their quality of life by offering programs such as art lessons, yoga classes, and even acupuncture and hypnosis treatments.
Since 2001, they have provided these programs free of charge to patients living with cancer.
Participants choose from a variety of options, including nutrition classes and getting a mini-makeover. But the watercolor art class is one of the most popular.
