Small hospitals embracing alternative medicine

Smaller hospitals are beginning to offer aromatherapy and other forms of alternative medicine services, and more patients are taking advantage of them. Ashland (Oregon) Community Hospital has offered “complementary medicine” services to its patients for the past four years, but officials there said there has been a steady increase in the number of patients using these services.
