Secondhand smoke linked to mental disorders

We know that secondhand smoke can cause harm to the heart and lungs, especially in children. But a new study shows it also may affect the child’s brain.

Researchers have found evidence that the children of women who smoked during pregnancy are more likely to have behavioral and mental disorders, including attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
