Kudzu root not the hangover cure
I read some interesting material about kudzu that says kudzu FLOWER extract can help decrease hangover symptoms, but kudzu ROOT extract has the opposite effect--it makes drinking so unpleasant that it works like Anabuse (a pharmaceutical drug designed to help people stop drinking by making them deathly ill if they drink alcohol). It must have been the kudzu root that they gave to the rats in the Japanese experiment. But if you're recovering from too much alcohol, go for the flowers.

The best way to avoid a hangover is just to stop drinking so darned much! And if you do drink, choose beer, and drink a bottle of water in between each beer.
