Misdiagnosed with Alzheimers Disease

A new study revealed that many people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease may not have had the disease at all—and might have been suffering from a form of dementia that is far more treatable.

About 2.3 million Americans have been diagnosed as having Alzheimer’s disease. The rate of diagnosis is 10 times higher than it was just a few decades ago. The rate of diagnosis in people under age 65 is TWENTY-FOUR times as high as it was a few decades ago.
