Craniosacral therapy, whith is also sometimes called sacral-therapy" title="Cranial Sacral Therapy">cranial sacral therapy (CST), is a manual, therapeutic procedure for remedying distortions in the structure and function of the brain and spinal cord, the bones of the skull, the sacrum, and interconnected membranes. It is a gentle, non-invasive technique that is based on the principle that our bodies know how to heal themselves. The practitioner listens to the body through palpation, then allows or introduces movement thought to release restrictions. Restrictions are considered to be the result of physical or emotional traumas.
