Chocolate. Say it slowly and it sounds almost as good as it tastes.

Derived from the cocoa bean, chocolate has always been considered a food of pleasure, something to enjoy on occasion as a special treat. But now there is increasing evidence and research into the potential health benefits this divine food may have to offer.

Humans have consumed chocolate for more than 2000 years. It was first discovered by the ancient peoples of Mexico and Central America, where the cocoa tree (technically known as Theobroma Cacao) grew in the local rainforests.
